How do I recharge my SIM?
Once the included starting credit is either used up or expired, you can add another base package or a dedicated data pack - you can also do this before you run out of credit of course and any existing credit will be rolled over.
To do that simply visit your MojoKnows Account and pick the desireed recharge pack from the "Recharge your SIM Card here" menu.
You can also already order these extra pack upfront - so if you plan to stay for say 7 weeks in Australia you can ask us to add another base pack just before the 1st one expires, so that you
have continuous access to call, text message and data services during your entire stay.

Note that when you add any of these recharge packs any remaining data from a previous pack is automatically rolled into your

How much will it cost to ship the One-Year-in-Australia-SIM ?

Does my mobile phone work in Australia?
Australia generally uses the standard 900 and 1800 MHz GSM network - which means if you are from anywhere in the world except the Americas
your phone will work fine. If you are from a country in the America's you should check the specification of your mobile -
most modern mobile phones can handle multiple frequencies - for Australia you need GSM 900 and 2100 MHz for 3G (fast data).
Please note: On December 1st 2016 Telstra has shut down their old 2G/GSM network. This means that if your phone only supports 2G (i.e. is pretty old or basic), you won't get any
more reception with a Telstra based product. You should upgrade your phone - or use the SIM City Classic Package -
the network that is used there still offers 2G/GSM until March 2017, then that network will be shut down as well.
To take full advantage of Telstra's superb mobile network you need a modern smartphone (i.e. iPhone 5 or newer) that supports 3G on the 850MHz band and ideally also 4G/LTE.
The second thing you should check is that your mobile is not locked to your provider's network - this can happen if you
purchased your mobile phone in a bundle with a SIM Card, or got it subsidised with a mobile contract. In either case you
should check with your mobile network provider at home whether you can use a prepaid SIM card from a different provider in your phone or, if not,
if they can remove that network lock for you. In most cases that is possible either for free (if you had your phone for a certain amount of time)
or for a fee.
Samsung Region Locking
Since 2013 Samsung is shipping new smartphones that are sold in the European Union with a new type of
Region Lock (also called EU-Lock) -
in practice this means that you need to use such a phone with a local, European SIM, for a phone call that lasts at least 5 minutes first, before you can take it overseas.
This is in addition to the general "SIM Lock" mechanism described above. If you plan to use such a phone, please make sure
